Music News – Painting the Town!

January 26th, 2009 by Temple City Tribune

musicnews“By far, the best Gumbo in California”, is what my friend Joe Feeney says about the fare at this Saturday’s Zydeco Dance at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Monrovia.  “It takes four French speaking, Louisiana born, Creoles two days to cook it up. That’s the truth!”  And Joe oughtta know – he’s spent numerous years living and going to school in New Orleans and is quite the expert on all things Cajun.  T-Lou and His Super Hot Zydeco Band will be providing the lively entertainment for the evening.  A word to the ladies – Joe knows how to tear it up on the dance floor – so bring your dancin’ shoes!  And his talents don’t end there – Joe is a meticulous house painter and did a fabulous job on my house last year.  A plug and photo that’s long-overdue:  FOR ALL YOUR INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING NEEDS, CALL JOE FEENEY @ 225-505-0017.  (He even still has his Louisiana cell phone number!)
