Have you ever wanted to go out to dinner but couldn’t decide where to go? I have and I have an idea: Why not go to 17 restaurants at the same time? No, I haven’t had too much fresh air.
I’m talking about attending the Friends of the Sierra Madre Library 39th Annual Wine and Cuisine Tasting Event. Come hungry, very hungry, and enjoy cuisine from Casa del Rey, Claro’s Italian Market, Charcuterie, El Cholo, Fresco’s Family Restaurant, Green Street, Jake’s Roadhouse, Matt Denny’s Alehouse, Pie N’ Burger, Starbucks, Sweets, Pastries & More, The Only Place in Town, Trader Joe’s, Village Pizzeria, Wildflour Baking Company, and Whole Foods.
Did I mention that the food is terrific. Our restauranteurs want to tantalize and delight you with their cuisine so you will have someplace to go the other 364 days of the year. And I haven’t even mentioned the wine! Don’t forget the wine from dozens of vintners, Magic Castle magicians, live music, art show and silent auction.
The event takes place Friday, February 20th at Alverno’s historic villa in Sierra Madre from 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Tickets are $60.00 each and are available online at www.sierramadrelibraryfriends.org. Use your VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card.
Tickets are also available for purchase at several Sierra Madre locations including Savor the Flavor, Sierra Madre Books, Iris Intrigue, Arnold’s Frontier Hardware, The Bottle Shop and, of course, the Sierra Madre Library. And tickets are available by mail at: The Friends of the Sierra Madre Library, P. O. Box 334, Sierra Madre, CA 91025.
Think about it. Libraries have always made information affordable, available and accessible to all people. So, isn’t it nice to know your contribution goes 100% to support the library and its services! Make plans to join us!
