Temple Station
11-13-12
Robbery: A robbery occurred at 5:45PM, in the 4800 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The suspect entered a local business and removed an item from the shelf, then attempted to exit without paying. When the victim confronted the suspect, the suspect pushed the victim out of the way and left the location in a 4 door dark colored vehicle. There was no video surveillance of the incident.
Grand Theft: A grand theft occurred between 6:00pm & 8:40pm, in the 5700 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The victim went shopping in a local business and said she had two wallets inside of her purse, prior to entering the location. When the victim went to pay, she discovered her wallets were missing from her purse. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.
Mail Theft: A mail theft occurred at 11:55am, in the 10,500 block of Olive Street. The victim was driving towards his residence and noticed a suspect stop and exit a vehicle, next to his mail box. He saw the suspect steal his mail. The victim chased the suspect & recorded him with his cell phone. The suspect was scared off and left his vehicle. The suspect managed to get-away, but his vehicle was impounded as evidence. This is an on-going investigation.

Petty Theft: A petty theft of a vehicle occurred between 9:44am & 10:10am, in the 5400 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The victim took her vehicle to a local business for servicing. When she returned, she discovered her GPS was missing from inside her vehicle. There were no reported witnesses or surveillance video of the incident.
Possession of Methamphetamine for Sale: Deputies arrested a F/H 26 at 11:45am, for transportation of narcotics for sale, possession of narcotics for sale, and driving with a suspended license, in the 5800 block of Baldwin Avenue. The suspect was detained for vehicle code violations and was driving on a suspended driver’s license. The suspect additionally possessed suspected methamphetamine and evidence indicative of narcotics sales. The suspect is a resident from El Monte.

Possession of Controlled Substance: Deputies arrested a MH/21 & cited a MH/21 at 7:58pm, for possession of a controlled substance & driving with a suspended license, in the 5500 block of Welland Avenue. Deputies responded to a call of persons acting suspiciously in a vehicle. Deputies detained the occupants and discovered the driver of the vehicle was driving on a suspended license & the passenger possessed narcotics. The suspects were residents from El Monte.

Robbery: A robbery occurred at 5:45PM, in the 4800 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The suspect entered a local business and removed an item from the shelf, then exited without paying. Domestic Violence: A domestic violence occurred at 9:00 am, in the 6000 block of Oak Avenue. The victim said she and her boyfriend got into an argument, when her boyfriend pushed her, causing her to strike the back of her head against a wall. The suspect left the location before deputies arrived. This is an ongoing investigation.

Rape, Robbery, & Burglary: A rape,robbery,burglary occurred at 2:00pm, in the 5700 block of Sultana Avenue. The victim said her ex-boyfriend broke into her home and forced her to have sex with him against her will, then stole money and alcohol before leaving. This is an on-going investigation.

Trespassing: Deputies arrested a MH/32 at 8:10am, for trespassing and receiving stolen property in the 5500 block of Welland Avenue. Deputies conducted a patrol check of a vacant business, when they heard someone inside. The suspect was captured a short time later and found in possession of suspected stolen property. The suspect is a local transient and narcotics user.
Court Order Violation: A violation of a court order occurred between 10:00am-10:20am, in the 5600 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The victim and suspect are separated, but have three children together. The victim has a temporary restraining order against the suspect, which states the suspect must stay away and have no contact with her or their children until an upcoming court date. The victim said the suspect called her twice and threatened her. This is an on-going investigation.
Vandalism: A vandalism occurred between 10:30am &11:30am, in the 9600 block of Live Oak Avenue. The victim parked and entered a local synagogue. When she returned, she discovered her vehicle front windshield was cracked. There were several reported witnesses, but no video surveillance of the incident.

Residential Burglary: A residential burglary occurred between 11/21 7:30pm & 11/22 7:30am, in the 8900 block of Lemon Avenue. Deputies responded to a burglary report call of a vacant residence under construction. The general contractor discovered someone propped open the garage door and stole two of his ladders. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.

Residential Burglary: A residential burglary was reported on 11/25, but occurred between 11/22 & 11/24, in the 9300 block of Olive Street. The victim said someone entered his locked residence and stole a five gallon container, which contained about $500.00 in U.S. coins. There were no signs of forced entry into the residence and there were no reported witnesses.
Vehicle Burglary: A vehicle burglary occurred between 5:30pm & 6:30pm at Rosemead Boulevard & Broadway. The victim parked his vehicle and entered a local business. When he returned, he discovered someone damaged his passenger door lock and stole items from his vehicle. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.
Shoplifting Burglary: A burglary shoplifting occurred at 6:15pm, in the 5700 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The suspect entered a local business and selected several items, then exited without paying. The suspect was detained by store security and arrested by deputies. The suspect is on active parole and a resident from the city of Duarte. There was video surveillance and a witness of the incident.
Vehicle Burglary: A vehicle burglary occurred between 11/21 7:00pm & 11/24 8:00pm, at Baldwin Avenue & Village Circle Place. The victim said someone pried open his driver’s side door lock and stole approximately $50.00 in U.S. currency from his vehicle. There were no reported witnesses.
Petty Theft: A petty theft occurred between 8:30pm & 11:00pm, in the 9600 block of Live Oak Avenue. The victim was inside of a local place of worship and left her purse unattended in the kitchen. When she returned, her purse was gone. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.
Shoplifting Burglary: A burglary shoplifting occurred at 2:30pm, in the 5800 block of Rosemead Boulevard. The witnesses said two male suspects, acting in concert, entered a local business as one of the suspects stole two working I Phones from a display area. Both suspects exited and ran south through the parking lot of the business. There were four reported witnesses and video surveillance of the incident.

Vandalism: A vandalism occurred between 11/19 & 11/26, in the 9500 block of Lemon Avenue. The informant said someone smashed the window of a school office building with a metal rod, which was left at the scene. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.

Residential Burglary: A residential burglary occurred between 8:00am & 2:00pm, in the 5500 block of Golden West Avenue. The victim said someone pried open his attached side garage door, entered his home, and stole several items from his master bedroom. There were no reported witnesses.

Residential Burglary: A residential burglary occurred between 7:45am & 6:15am, in the 5200 block of Halifax Avenue. The victim said someone entered her residence through the half-open bathroom window and stole several items from her bedroom. There were no reported witnesses or video surveillance of the incident.
Residential Burglary: A residential burglary occurred between 8:20am & 4:00pm, in the 5500 block of Baldwin Avenue. The victim said someone pried open the back door of her residence and stole jewelry and other items from her home. There were no reported witnesses.
Residential Burglary: A residential burglary occurred between 8:00am & 12:00pm, in the 9400 block of Blackley Avenue. The victim said someone entered his residence through the open bedroom window and stole items from his residence. There were no reported witnesses.

Receiving Stolen Property: Deputies arrested a MH/32 at 10:30am for receiving suspected stolen property, possession of narcotics paraphernalia & under the influence of narcotics. The suspect was detained for a vehicle code violation on a bicycle. During the detention, the suspect displayed the signs/symptoms of a person under the influence of narcotics and possessed a narcotics pipe. The suspect also possessed several newly packaged collectible toys which he had no receipt for and told several completely different stories on how he obtained the items. The suspect is a local transient narcotics user in the area.
