Oak students give back to kids in need

January 10th, 2013 by Temple City Tribune

The Associated Student Body officers of Oak Avenue Intermediate School in Temple City hosted a “Winter Wonderland Dance” to raise money for children served by Hollygrove.
Over $400 was raised and used to purchase gifts from the Hollygrove holiday wish list.
Oak students delivered the gifts and had the opportunity to tour Hollygrove first-hand. “They can’t wait to return and do more,” said Assistant Principal Daryl Topalian, who helped coordinate the project.
For 127 years, Hollygrove has been dedicated to helping children and families achieve permanency and well-being.
