Relay to be Dedicated to Charles Gilb

The Arcadia City Council acknowledged that this year’s Arcadia Relay for Life will be dedicated to the late Charles Gilb, beloved Arcadia citizen past mayor and founder of the Ruth and Charles Gilb Arcadia Historical Museum. The city will participate with several teams, as well as the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, Kiwanis, the Inter-faith community, Arcadia Radiology and the always supportive Arcadia Association of Realtors and its members will have office teams to name a few. The Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event that each year through communities coming together in the fight against cancer raise thousands of dollars for cancer research, patient services, education and advocacy. Please join your community by coming to our next Team Captain Meeting and finding out how you too can do your part in eliminating cancer. Our next meeting will be Wednesday, March 25th at 6:00pm at the Hilton Garden Inn 199 North Second Avenue, Arcadia . The Hilton Garden Inn has been a wonderful sponsor. Come learn about relay so you can be part of the Arcadia Relay for Life June 27th and 28th.
