The City of Temple City will celebrate its Golden Anniversary in 2010 that will be marked in a year-long celebration of special events in celebration of 50 years of incorporation. Last week, residents were invited to a special mixer put on by the Chamber to celebrate the milestone.
The mayor introduced many dignitaries from state and local offices with various proclamations congratulating the city of Temple City on its half-century of cityhood. As guests mingled with local council members and friends, confident potential candidates for Miss Temple City worked the room introducing themselves.
