Two units were destroyed, and a third sustained serious damage when flames ripped through a condominium complex Monday morning in Temple City, according to reports.
The fire broke out around 1:20 a.m. inside the building located in the 9000 block of Rancho Real. Damaging a third unit, the fire was put out shortly after firefighters from LA County arrived. Officials on the scene said working that smoke alarms and a ’quick-thinking resident’ saved lives in this fire. All of the residents managed to get out of the building safely and no one was injured.
The Red Cross is assisting residents of the two units that were destroyed.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
